Bio
Andrés E. Montiel (he/him) is a queer, first-generation Venezuelan PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver). Clinically, Andrés is interested in advancing culturally competent psychological care for LGBTQ+ populations, particularly those with migration backgrounds. In his spare time, Andrés enjoys photography, writing poetry, dancing, and spending time by the beach.
