Bio
Jess Crawford (they/them) is a white settler and uninvited guest of British and German ancestry. A trans, non-binary, queer, and neurodivergent registered nurse, they spend most of their time learning, laughing, and loving on Treaty 1. Jess earned their Master of Nursing in Gender Inclusive and Affirming Practices at the University of Manitoba, including four publications and creating a portal for nursing education. Their future PhD work centers on becoming a better relative and ancestor, learning alongside the traditional stewards of the Land and Water, and nurturing queer and trans planetary joy.
