Bio
Jordan is a queer agender Indo-Trinidadian-Canadian scholar. He earned a BMSc in One Health and Gender Studies from Western University (2023) and an MPH in Indigenous Health and Sexual Diversity Studies from the University of Toronto (2024). He works as the HIV/STBBI Service Navigator at 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations, supporting Two-Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQ+ individuals through Indigenous harm reduction and trauma-informed approaches. Jordan’s research centres on planetary healing, community building/organizing, and health justice through critical-creative, anti-colonial, and abolitionist praxes. He is committed to exploring the transformative potential of community-led care in improving the health and social outcomes of systematically-marginalized communities across North America and the Caribbean diaspora.
