Bio
Louis-Thomas Bouchard Morin (he/him) is a master's student in psychoeducation at the Université de Sherbrooke, Quebec. Under the supervision of Alexa Martin-Storey and Geneviève Paquette, his thesis focuses on parental support and advocacy for transgender and gender-diverse youth. As a trans person himself, he is grateful for the privilege of working on this topic. He is currently developing his professional practice as a psychosocial youth mental health counselor and plans to continue raising awareness of the 2S/LGBTQ+ reality in the healthcare system. Occasionally, Louis-Thomas is also invited as a guest speaker in various university classes to talk about his transition to future healthcare providers.
