Bio

Maxe F. Giguère holds a master’s degree in ethics and brings extensive experience in patient-centered healthcare, with a strong focus on supporting vulnerable populations. Their work spans several impactful roles, including the implementation of health information systems for the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission, community-based research with the Collectif LGBTQ* du Manitoba, and digital communications support for Moelle épinière et motricité Québec. Currently at the Collectif, Maxe is leading a research initiative aimed at developing and deploying training modules for healthcare professionals. This project seeks to enhance healthcare accessibility for the French-speaking 2SLGBTQI+ community in Manitoba, addressing critical gaps in equity and inclusion within the healthcare system.
