Bio

Michelle Tam (she/her) is a postdoctoral research fellow at LGBTQ Health Center of Excellence (Harvard). She received her PhD in Public Health Science from the University of Toronto and her Masters in Gender Studies from Queen’s University. Tam’s research interests focus on 2SLGBTQ+ communities, Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) populations, healthcare access, mental health, and sexual and reproductive health in Canada and the US. She uses both mixed-methods and qualitative research approaches. She is interested in research that advances reproductive justice, addresses intersecting inequalities, and ensures meaningful access to family formation and sexual and reproductive rights.
