Bio
Muhammad Furqan Waleed (he/they) is the Executive Director of the Community Alliance for Accessible Treatment (CAAT) and a former 2S/LGBTQ+ Health Hub Fellow. His work focuses on community-based research, health equity, HIV, newcomer and refugee health, and strengthening access to culturally responsive care for 2S/LGBTQ+ communities. Furqan is passionate about mentoring emerging leaders, supporting community-engaged research, and building meaningful partnerships between academia and community organizations.
