Bio
Ron works as the Expand Project Outreach Coordinator in Tio'tià:ke (Montreal), focusing on community-based tobacco prevention and cessation among 2SLGBTQ+ young adults. He is also working on a 2-Spirit & Indigiqueer project and library collection at the Montreal LGBTQ+ Community Centre. Ron holds a multidisciplinary bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sexual Health and Linguistics and he is an accredited TEFL English teacher. In fall, he will begin a master's degree in Social Work, focusing on the narrative approach and gamification as a mental health intervention among 2SLGBTQ+ young adults. Additionally, he teaches English at a high school in rural Quebec and works at a funeral home.
