Bio
Sarah Reddington is an Associate Professor in the Child and Youth Study Department at Mount Saint Vincent University. Sarah’s research in the field of critical gender studies aims to disrupt Westernized binary understandings of gender and argue for more open ways to think about gender inclusivity within child and youth settings. To do this, she engages with poststructural thinking, affect theory, posthumanism, Deleuzoguattarian theory, queer theory, diffraction and new materialism to challenge the conditions that marginalize 2SLGBTQIA+ children and youth.
