Bio

Sean Morgan is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Victoria’s Healthy Relationships Lab. His research examines intimate partner violence (IPV), focusing on risk and protective factors in 2S/LGBTQ+ relationships. Grounded in minority stress theory and social allostasis, he explores how external and internal stressors shape romantic relationships. Enthusiastic about statistics, he applies advanced modeling techniques to analyze relationship dynamics. In his clinical work, he is particularly interested in supporting 2S/LGBTQ+ individuals and their relationships. He also enjoys teaching, mentoring students in math and science, and spending time running, hiking, and exploring nature.
