Bio
Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and is currently pursuing a master of Public Health at the Université de Montréal, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective to health equity. His master's research focuses on improving access to mental health support for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing suicidality in rural Canadian settings. By analyzing the sociocultural dynamics that shape these environments, he aims to uncover systemic barriers and contribute to the development of more inclusive policies and interventions. Simon is particularly interested in how the intersection of lived experiences and structural inequities influences well-being and access to care.
