Bio
I am a Master’s Student at the University of Toronto, studying Biomedical Communications. My research project, MetaMorphosis, centers around the creation of a website about metoidioplasty, (aka “meta”) a type of gender-affirming bottom surgery for transmasculine people. I am consulting with meta patients to better understand their needs and desires so that I can create a comprehensive, accessible, and relevant resource for the community. The main focus of this project is creating illustrations of the surgery and post-op recovery stages to fill the gap in visual resources on meta.
In my free time, I love illustrating plants, insects, and just about anything small that takes time and patience to observe.
