Biographie
Anu Radha Verma grew up (and still lives) in Mississauga. She’s a curator, facilitator, researcher, and most recently, freelance journalist and PhD student. Anu Radha is committed to the suburbs, evident through her curation, advocacy, community organizing, facilitation, media, speaking engagements and most importantly, the relationships she develops locally, especially with those engaged in social justice work. She has worked in both Canada and India in areas such as climate change, anti-racism, gender-based violence, and immigrant/newcomer engagement at various non-profit organizations. Since 2010, Anu Radha has worked in health care, including as a health promoter, a researcher, a project coordinator, an organizational change consultant and a health journalist.
