Biographie
Joshun is a PhD candidate in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Public Health in Sociomedical Sciences with a certificate in Social Determinants of Health from the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. Joshun has over a decade of experience in 2S/LGBTQIA+ sexual and mental health, particularly among Black, Indigenous, and other people of colour. Their dissertation examines how systems of oppression affect access to sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection prevention services for South Asian gay, bisexual, and other queer men in Canada.
