Biographie
Josiah Lansang is an MSc student in Computer Science in the Towlson Lab at the University of Calgary. Using computational neuroscience and longitudinal brain imaging, his research examines the effects of gender-affirming hormone therapy on brain organization and mental health over time. Outside of the lab, Josiah helped launch the Queer Research Hub and co-organized the inaugural Queerposium, which brought together nearly 100 attendees. Beyond his academic contributions to teaching, mentorship, and university governance, he also volunteers as a Support Group Facilitator with Alzheimer Calgary. His favourite self-care activities include crocheting, coin collecting, going to the gym, and learning to play guitar!
