Biographie

Kevin Prada is a queer researcher, author, speaker, sessional instructor, and Vanier Scholar pursuing a PhD in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. His research explores the relationship between religion, spirituality, and mental health among 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities, with a focus on stigma, belonging, identity, agency, mindfulness, and psychological wellbeing. Grounded in queer, feminist, and community-based approaches, his work aims to inform clinical practice, policy, and public dialogue. Kevin serves as Counsellor for Research and Knowledge Dissemination with Le Collectif LGBTQ* du Manitoba, delivers workshops nationwide with Egale Canada, and has been invited to speak internationally on 2S/LGBTQIA+ mental health, inclusion, and equity.
